There are frequent stories of impending doom. If it isn’t new it’s a recycled one, which works because few understood the original story was false. This allows exploiters to take normal events and present them as abnormal. A recent Canadian story identifies a hole in the Arctic ozone. How can this be? Wasn’t the problem […]

Climate alarmists constantly search for claims of impending disaster. Usually they’re natural events they present as unnatural. Rarely does the actual outcome get published so people can keep track of false speculations. For example, in 2005 a report speculated that a weakening of the Gulf Stream would cause significant cooling in Europe. The story played […]

Arctic ice pack is melting at approximately 54,000 square kilometers a day as the world warms. Why haven’t we seen this headline? Possibly because when journalists check, it’s the average rate of summer melt as the ice decreases from winter maximum of 14 million square km2 in April toward a minimum of 4.5 million km2 in September. Few people know this much ice melts every summer, but they don’t know a similar amount of ice forms every winter.

All forecasts of future weather and climate conditions for the entire globe including the Arctic are based on the assumption that human produced CO2 will cause warming. There is no evidence to support this assumption.

Break your stick in ice hockey and drop it immediately, or a penalty is assessed because continued use can cause serious damage (Rule 10.3). Apparently this rule doesn't apply in climate science, where a few scientists continue to use a broken "hockey stick" and cause serious damage.

Recent severe weather in the US triggered claims they're proof of human-caused global warming. This is scientific nonsense. Whoever makes the claim is demonstrating ignorance of climate science. Unfortunately, most are repeating the false science of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) who incorrectly predicted severe weather increases because of warming.
