Anyone that claims we have any idea what is really happening with global weather and climate is displaying how little they actually know. The IPCC say they are 90% certain global warming and climate change is due to human-produced CO2.

Three scientists from the beginning of the 20th century had a profound impact on our view and understanding of the world and climate, yet are virtually unknown. All three saw their ideas challenged in the appropriate scientific way, but have withstood attempts to disprove them. Despite this, the public is generally unaware of their work and its implications.

Climate change research of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is woefully inadequate because of all the factors and mechanisms they ignore.

Environmentalism as practiced by extremists is a blind faith. Their demands for action to deal with non-existent problems create bizarre situations. They ignore science, logic and facts to identify problems so there are often unintended consequences. One involves the environmentalist’s obsession with the oil industry, who produce the energy that drives the engines of capitalism and supposedly destroys the planet with CO2 emissions.

CNN presented a skeptical report on the claim that a catastrophic event would occur on December 21, 2012. Does the report mark a change? Are the mainstream media starting to question such exploitations of fear? Does it presage a shift to questioning the false claim human CO2 is causing global warming, the largest example of exploiting fear?

Urban Heat Island Effect

There are serious problems with all the current measurements from surface stations to satellites, but a major one is the contamination of the surface readings by changes in the physical conditions around the weather station. This article looks at one contentious issue and serious concern with the surface record known as the Urban Heat Island Effect (UHIE).

Political whitewash of the corrupted climate science of the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) illustrates the completely political nature of the issue. Indeed, the Chairman of the British Parliament investigating Phil Jones and the CRU specifically said they would not look at the science. If they had, they would see the extensive and outrageous scientific errors, manipulations of data, and omissions of large areas.
