The following article first appeared on The Rebel website. Derek Bok said if you think education is expensive try ignorance. A rarely considered or measured cost is exploitation of ignorance. Confidence tricksters use people’s limitations to take advantage. Global warming is just another example, albeit the largest in history, because the entire world was fooled. […]

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper proudly announced discovery of one of Captain John Franklin’s ships, either the Erebus or Terror. Identification, of which ship will be relatively easy, based on the known dimensions of the vessels (Figure 1). “It occurred to me…” The tail always wagged the dog: Now, because of political correctness, the flea on the hair on the tail wags the dog.  Elaine Dewar spent several days with Maurice Strong at the UN and concluded in her book that, “Strong was using the U.N. as a platform to sell a global […]

software cheap It’s interesting how many proverbs and sayings apply to Barack Obama’s strategies. It confirms the biblical proverb, “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.” Fortunately, the US Founding Fathers were familiar with biblical and secular proverbs. The cliché about models is garbage in garbage out (GIGO); but who put the garbage in, decided what happened to the garbage while it was in the model, and then decided how the garbage was used once it was out?

When scrambling to explain all the cold weather people only expose their ignorance of climate science. Fortunately, they also produce statements that even those who don't understand the science see as illogical.

Why don't we know who released the emails from the Climatic Research Unit (CRU)? Is it an attempt by the CRU and the University of East Anglia (UEA) to divert even more attention from their involvement in this scandal?

Official climate forecasts produced by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), are wrong, useless and dangerous. Weather and climate has been totally politicized through government involvement. It’s time to eliminate them in forecasting and research and reduce their role to data collection.
